Steve manages the day-to-day operations of Modell Capital Management while also overseeing the firm’s finances. He works with the research team, implementing the firm's investment philosophy and maintaining client accounts in accordance with investment strategies. Prior to joining MCM, Steve served as Chief Operating Officer for the Private Client division of Clarkston Capital Partners while also serving as the Director of Portfolio Management for fourteen years. He also worked as a Research Analyst/Investment Associate for R.H. Bluestein & Company.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts, Finance and Commercial Law with a minor in Business Administration from Western Michigan University Haworth College of Business.
